Trades. How We Label I usually don't for practical reasons such as customs and ask that you don't as well. What Media We Trade Please use name brands for CDR's and DVDR's, try to use DVD+ when possible. Trading My ratio when trading DVD's and CD's is one-for-one. My ratio when trading CD to DVD is two-for-one, however I am limiting my cd's trades these days to almost 0. How Much We Ship To avoid customs problems it is best to ship in 6-8 disc qtys at one time. That means the next package should be 6-8 discs to maximize postage. DVD's When trading DVD's, please try to use name brands (although I realize that can be difficult). I prefer +'s, although I will take -'s. Note: Compression tecniques may be used to burn DVD's to fit on one disc. Certain audio and bonus material may also be left out. This will be the norm until double-sided discs are cheaper. All my DVD's are NTSC unless stated otherwise. Conversions are worth an extra disc if requested. DO NOT SEND VCD-TO-DVD DISCS UNLESS WE HAVE AGREED. YOU CAN TELL VCD-SOURCED DVD'S BY THE LESSER QUALITY IMAGE. What Quality We Trade When it comes to cd's, please don't send me something of questionable quality that is unlistenable. CD's that are unlistenable are those that contain distortion or loud cracks and pops thoughout most of the CD. CD's that contain tracks that skip or don't progress to the next track are also questionable quality. When it comes to DVD's and Videos, please don't send me something of questionable quality with picture bends or a wavy picture. Please don't send me something that may have good video but horrible audio like distorted sound because it was recorded too loud. Please don't send me something where the video and the audio are out of sync. Please don't send me something that has 'butterfly flutters' throughout most of the recording. Know your boots! If I get anything of this quality, I will simply reject the trade and ask you to send me something else. |
